Made from wheat flour and interspersed meat, seasoned with the condiments of Alto Minho (garlic, ‘vinho verde’ and paprika). With prolonged natural curing and a light touch of holm oak smoke.
Consume after cooking. It can be baked in the oven or on the grill. Try it sliced on a hotplate or cooked for 10 to 15 minutes. Try it in ‘Cozido à Portuguesa’ (‘Portuguese Stew’).
