The sharp aroma of cumin combined with interspersed meat and ‘carolino’ rice, give this sausage a mix of traditional Alto-Minho flavours. In Portuguese is called “Morcela de Arroz”.
Consume after cooking. It can be cooked for 10 minutes, or grilled in one piece or sliced. Try it simply grilled with sautéed turnip greens.
