ONION SOUP AND CHESTNUTS WITH MEAT SAUSAGE
INGREDIENTS
400g frozen chestnuts
200g onion
400g potatoes
50g Penne pasta
3dl olive oil
1 Meat Sausage
PREPARATION
Cook the chestnuts and the Meat Sausage in abundant water.
When cooked, remove the Meat Sausage and set aside.
Grind the chestnuts with a hand blender until you get a cream.
Then put the Meat Sausage back in the chestnut puree, add the diced potatoes, the onion in half-moons, the olive oil and season with salt to taste. Let it cook over very low heat until all gets well undone. Add the Penne pasta and let it cook. At the time of serving, remove the Meat Sausage, cut it into slices and put some slices on the plates where you are going to serve the soup. Serve very hot.
