SAVOY CABBAGE WRAPPED WITH MEAT SAUSAGE AND MINCED CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS
500g whole savoy cabbage leaves
100g Meat Sausage
100g cooked chicken breast
3cl olive oil
100 g chopped onion
20g chopped garlic
1dl red ‘vinho verde’
Honey
1 orange
PREPARATION
Boil the whole savoy cabbage leaves in plenty of water seasoned with salt and a drizzle of olive oil for 3 minutes.
Then rinse them in cold water, drain and set aside.
Mince the Meat Sausage and the chicken breast.
Braise the meat in olive oil, onion and minced garlic. Add the minced Meat Sausage and chicken, the red ‘vinho verde’, 1 teaspoon of honey, the juice and the zest of 1 orange and let it stew slowly for 10 minutes.
Fill the savoy cabbage leaves with the previous preparation (previously drained), roll them up and tighten them well. Put a pan on the cooker with the stew sauce and dip the cabbage rolls for another 20 minutes over very low heat.
Serve with white rice.
